Desperate Housewives is in no short supply of drama. The latest episode showcases everything the show is known for. Sex, love, drama, murder and lies, it’s all there and not at all shy about it.
Lynette and Gabrielle
Now this is an interesting turn of events. In short, Lynette and Gabby’s fate are intertwined with Carlos firmly in the middle. While I don’t see Lynette leaving Wisteria Lane anytime soon, it’s clear that her relationship with Gabby is seriously compromised and future financial struggles might occur once again. While occupational drama has been done before, it is the friction between Gabby and Lynette that really puts the extra zing onto this storyline. Ultimately, the housewives are the ones we care about.
The Second Attack
With a little insight on everyone’s secrets, the secret the Bolen has the most trouble keeping seems to be their own. With a second attack that could possibly be linked to the family, it looks like their time on Wisteria is limited at best. Despite their sinister past, Angie is surprisingly human and compassionate, despite her bold attitude.
As Desperate Housewives always promises, ‘The Coffee Cup’ is solid and entertaining. Hopefully a mid-season climax will surface soon to bolster the tension.
