I'm not saying there ISN'T another way to explore this relationship, but I don't find Teddy to be the problem; their insecurities are. Teddy would be gone by now if it wasn't for Owen (for bringing her here) and Cristina (for asking her to stay). In that sense, I don't blame Teddy for any of this, but if you want to get to the core of things, it's the writers' decision. I will also say that some of the best moments in the last two episodes have involved Teddy for me, so I don't think the writers are making a poor choice here. I don't think they can keep this triangle up for long, but I have to give it more time before I write the whole scenario off. Yes, Teddy did bring Cris's issues to the forefront, but I still feel there were many other, more interesting ways to have them examine their relationship. With actors like KMK and SO, the possibilities are endless and it seems a waste to rely on the old triangle storyline - no matter how "different" the writers keep telling us it is.
